A path of marigolds for two adults
Día de Muertos is observed in many ways. Families set out photographs, flowers, food, and time together, and those practices are not all the same. This page offers one gentle scene for remembering an adult: a dusk path covered in marigold petals, candlelight, and cut-paper garlands, ending in an embrace. It is an AI tribute scene, not a real recording. An AI tribute, not a real recording. It does not explain the tradition, and it does not replace what your family already does. The people in the photographs must both be adults. We never make tributes with children's photos, and this page has no imagery for remembering a child.
How the Marigold Path moves
The opening still shows the path and both adults, so you can judge the faces before you use credits. In the video you walk forward, petals rise near your feet, and the person you miss turns toward you in warm light. The last moments are a long hug as petals fall. There is no text in the picture, no religious symbol, and no skull or frightening costume. Candlelight and paper flowers are the whole decoration. Choose photographs with clear eyes and a similar head size. Black-and-white photographs can be gently colored if the features stay consistent with the original. A happy, well-lit portrait is kinder to look at than a medical scene.
The same page after the holiday
Through 2 November 2026 this page uses the heading Día de Muertos Reunion Video. From 3 November the heading becomes Marigold Path Tribute Video and the address stays the same. The style remains available for a birthday, the anniversary of a death, Mother's Day, Father's Day, or a day that is ordinary except that you miss someone. You do not need a holiday to walk the path. Stairway of Light, on the main Hug in Heaven page, is the other choice: clouds and a golden stair instead of flowers. Both cost 10 credits, the Single pack at $5.99. Three videos are 30 credits, the Starter pack at $13.99.
Permission and privacy
Confirm that Photo 1 is you or an adult who agreed, and that Photo 2 is a family member or loved one you have the right to remember this way. No public figures. No minors. You must be 18 or older to use PetAIVideo. We never use your photos or videos to train AI models. Photos are deleted after 7 days and videos after 30 days. A short name and a sentence live only on the tribute page, which is left out of search and can be deleted by you. You may use the finished video for personal and commercial purposes if you have rights to the photographs and you keep the AI label, as the terms of service describe.
Share it inside the family
WhatsApp is often the simplest way to send one link to siblings. Facebook is there if you want a wider circle. You can also copy the link or download the video with music and the silent version and keep both offline. Suggested captions are short on purpose. One of them reads: One more hug. Keep the platform's AI-generated label when you post. If the face does not feel right, one free re-make is included for 24 hours, and support can review a further gentle attempt. If something fails on our side, you have not been charged.
What this scene is not
It is not a séance, a promise, or proof of anything unseen. It is not a costume, a joke, or a trend to chase. The tone stays quiet. If a generated frame shows a child, a skull, writing, a cross, or two faces melted together, that frame is a failure and should not be shared. Look at the preview with that standard in mind. You are allowed to stop. The photograph of someone you love is already enough, and this scene is only an optional way to sit with it for about 15 seconds.
Choosing the photographs
Use one person in each picture. A group photograph will be declined with a request for one person per photo. Eyes should be visible, without dark glasses or a mask. Very blurry, very dark, or heavily filtered faces are hard to recognize, and the preview will ask you to try another photograph. Match the size of the heads if you can. A passport-style portrait beside a distant picnic photograph makes one face dominate. Old color casts are fine. What matters is that a person who loved them could say, yes, that is their face, and yes, that is yours.
A small ritual you can decline
You might make the video on the morning of the visit to a grave, or weeks later, or not at all. You might watch it once with a sibling and then leave it in a private album. None of those choices is more correct than the others. The page will still be here after the marigolds of this year are gone. If you want the stair of light instead, the main Hug in Heaven page starts there. If you want help with the pictures, the photo tips explain the same rules in a shorter list.
